My Approach
I approach therapy through a collection of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) models. Clients are encouraged to take an active role in their therapy, utilizing evidence based techniques to monitor their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and find more effective and adaptive responses to their difficult emotions.

About me
I believe that the most important mode of therapy for the individual is 'the one that works' and spent years receiving extensive training of multiple CBT models (ACT, DBT, PE, CPT, ERP etc) to be the most helpful I can be with clients. I did most of my education and training in New York (though a huge Boston sports fan), and have worked for a number of years with the Veteran population, specializing in Trauma based therapies.
I have a Masters degree in psychology and education from Columbia University, and a Masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fordham University.
